The Final Day of 2010

This being the final day of 2010, we are keeping with tradition and celebrating it in much of the same fashion as we did last year.
Just like last year, there was food...

and the Deschamps...
and more food...
The girls got to be together again to say goodbye to one decade and welcome in another.  A first for all of them...
For this special night, we allowed the girls to get a little more dolled up than usual...
They were all feeling a little sassy with their new looks...
With just a few minutes to go, we all gathered together...
to be close to our loved ones...
and our tiny new additions...
So we could all be reminded of just how good this past decade has been to us.
Happy New Year!!

Birthday Celebration: Day Three

Apparently there is a lot of celebrating to do around here.  Today is Celebration Day #3, also known as "Present Day".  We have had a tea party, eaten a lot of cake and now it is time to open the presents from our generous family and friends who were unable to be here the past two days.

While waiting for Joe to get everything in order, Sophia posed...

and all of the girls peeked at the gift that was not so delicately shipped to Sophia...
There were many guesses as to what could be inside, but alas, we discovered it was a hopscotch game from Nathan and Michael Mead...
Up next were the gifts from Papa and Grandma Owie...
Then Sophia received doll number one million and one from Ditado and Papa...
Once the doll was quickly taken away, Sophia opened a camera from them as well...
Sophia's next two gifts came from Christi.   The first was a Play-doh Cake Makin' Station which has since given them endless amounts of fun...
As well as a Rapunzel doll...
Tam Tam and Terrence sent Alice make-up which the girls slathered on their faces five minutes later...
They also sent these wonderful eeboo games that are beyond precious...
All of the girls sat down to play this game which is a wonderful take on the classic memory game (but so much prettier)...
Thank you all for your incredible generosity.  You truly know how to spoil a little girl.
