Lake House Birthday

The only thing marked on today's to do list was to attend a birthday party.
There wasn't much time left over after that because the party was at a lake house in Hot Springs.
I wouldn't normally drive an hour and a half (one way) for a birthday party.
But this party was for Lily's "BFF" Grace Anne.
Given the circumstances that we would be moving shortly, I felt like we had to attend.
I'm glad we did because it was a great time...

Preschool Zoo Trip

Just as Lily's class got a zoo trip, so did Sophia's.
The seven girls were split up in two separate cars, but they quickly found their way back to one another once unbuckled...

My little Sissy was so happy to be with her friends...

These munchkins rode the train and looked at the animals.
Our favorite exhibit was the penguins.
This silly girl is my most favorite penguin of all...

Zoo Trip-Kindergarten

Every year, the kids at IC get two field trips.

The first is in the Fall and it's to the pumpkin patch.

We were in California for this one.

The second is in the Spring.

The kindergarten class, along with their eighth grade buddies, go to the zoo...

It's hard keeping up with those 6 and 14 year olds.
They ran from exhibit to exhibit.
Just as us parents caught up, they were off again squealing and shouting.
There is no doubt that a lot of fun was had by all.

What Did the Bunny Bring?

It's Easter morning.

Aside from the bunny bringing home the best Easter gift,

a visit from daddy,

He also brought baskets full of goodies...

He also hid all of the colorful eggs throughout the house...

and outside as well...

That tricky bunny also hid some cascarones...
