Lily is normally a very cautious child.

However, when she joined her friend, Isabella, at her mom's company picnic, a carefree little girl surfaced...

As much as I love seeing her be safe, I also love seeing her let loose and just be a carefree kid.

Crazy Hat Day

Every day this week there is a new theme to raise awareness for Red Ribbon Week (drug free).

Today is Crazy/Silly hat day...

Last I checked, this big kid didn't attend elementary school.

Tin Man

The annual paint a pumpkin for the school library is going on again.

Last year we did Dr. Seuss.

This year we went with a book and movie we all love.

The WONDERFUL WIZARD OF OZ...

I'm sure our character is pretty obvious.

Lily's School Trip

Two days after Sophia's school field trip, Lily had hers.

This time, we went to the Texas Oil Ranch.

It didn't sound like an exciting place to take a bunch of 7 year olds, but I quickly learned that it was the perfect place for these kids...

Unlike with Sophia's field trip, it was just me and Maddie today...

The teachers were really smart and broke the kids up into small groups.
This is our group...

As it turns out, this small group was a giant blast...

It was definitely a fantastic day at the farm.
