Their Special Tree

It's a day away from December.

That must mean it is time to decorate.

We got the girls white tree down and they were all wanting to decorate.

Including Maddie...

Although it is tough, I had to let my OCD ways go and give full creative license to Lily and Sophia.

It is their tree after all...

I'm happy I let them do this tree themselves.

It is decorated with ornaments they made and decorated the way they want...

This makes it special to them and a tradition that we will continue.

Thankful for So Many Things

Although today is Thanksgiving, I am thankful everyday.

I am most thankful for my family.

Especially these three...

The two big girls helped to set the table...

They also made place cards for all of our guests...

This little turkey stayed busy just long enough for us to get dinner made...

Maddie slept through most of the meal, but woke up just in time to get a little sampler platter...

It's the end of the first quarter of school and I am so happy to say that both of my girls were tremendous successes...

These two girls make me prouder beyond words...

So smart they are!
