Memorial Day

To celebrate Memorial Day, Joe had to work.
But then we went to a BBQ at his friend Jay's house.
It was hot, so the girls and little Easton went swimming...
Joe got a few minutes to enjoy the day and relax...
The girls never got out of the pool...
I hope your Memorial Day was memorable.

Blackmail

I must begin this blog by saying to my husband,
I love you, but I had to do it.
These were simply too good to keep to myself.

Remember the little skirts we got the girls at the Greek festival?
Joe found a new use for them...
And how can you not love this face...
Don't be mad sweetie.
Just laugh.
I know I did!

Fountain of Youth

For obvious reasons, I typically don't like when Sophia drinks the bath water...
But these little puckered lips were too cute as they were spouting out the water in a fountain-like way...
I believe I discovered the Fountain of Youth today.

Grecian Girls for a Day

It's time again for the annual Greek Festival.
We gathered the girls together and met up with the Hines family...
Like in years past, there was face painting...
Hat making...
and a cozy spot on the grass for food tasting...
The only things missing were the Deschamps Family (which made me sad) and the nesting dolls (which made the girls sad.)
As an alternative to the nesting dolls, we purchased these little Greek Goddess outfits for the girls...
The food, fun and shopping once again proved to be too much for Sophia...
Until next year...

Buddies

The timing of the visit of my friend Christine and her daughter Lily was perfect.
The girls all got along fantastically .
They were pretty much inseparable...

Sophia was a part of the Lily group and loved every minute of it...
Having a buddy visit always makes for a special day.

Thelma and Louise

I can sum this picture up in three words...

Thelma and Louise.

Passing Time

While Arkansas Lily was away at a field trip to the zoo, Sophia and the California Lily played at the park.  It was a great way for them to pass the time while awaiting Liliana's arrival...
The smiles got bigger as they saw Liliana approaching...
And the smiles remained the next two days that the two Lily's and the one Sophia were together.
