Dirty Little Secret

My daughter has a secret.
It's a nasty secret.
It's a dirty secret.

She picks her nose.

Oh, that's not the secret.
Joe and I are both aware that our daughter spends plenty of time during the day knuckle deep in her nose.

Her secret is where she chooses to dispose of them...

On her bedroom wall.

So which daughter does this?

I'll give you a moment to ponder this question.

Cheernastics is Fantastic

Summer gymnastics and cheernastics (cheer/power tumbling) began tonight.
Lily wasn't happy wearing just a tank top and shorts.
She needed an outfit made specifically for gymnastics.
This is the outfit she went with...

Colorful, isn't it?

Sophia was very happy wearing her outfit from the revue.
She was also very happy because tonight she mastered bottom drops on the trampoline.
For those of you not familiar, that is where you drop to your bottom and bounce to your feet.
I was quite impressed...

 Lily could hardly wait to learn all there was about cheerleading...

 Lily is the youngest in the class of four.
Two of them are seven and the other is nine...

 But being little allowed Lily to be at the top of their mini pyramid...

 While Lily cheered and practiced and practiced her somersaults, Sophia just kicked back and relaxed...

Cheernastics and Gymnastics...How Fantastic!

Gymnastics Revue

Sophia has only been doing gymnastics for a short time, but it was time to show off all that she has learned during that time.

While waiting for the other 3-4 year olds to arrive, Sophia got a little practice in...

Lily was there to support her little sister.
She declared to me that she was going to "scream and yell the loudest for Sophia."
I love seeing the excitement they each have for each other...

I wasn't sure who was being sillier while not so patiently waiting.
Sophia...

All the girls and boy arrived and the revue was going to begin...

It started with some balance beam work...

and then some jumps on the trampoline (Sophia's favorite)...

Some flips on the bar...

followed by somersaults...

The revue ended with one last walk on the balance beam...

Joe and Lily cheered her on...

Sophia was then rewarded with her very own medal.
It is her first and boy was she proud of it.
She should be, she earned it...

Sophia and her biggest cheerleader of the night...

Inspecting her new medal for what I am sure is not going to be the last time...

Yay for Sissy!

The Pre-Show

Sophia had her gymnastics revue today.

She wanted to practice some posing before her big event...

I had to get a picture of her little backside in those blue hot pants...

and those muscular legs...
