Brownie Bash

Lily's Brownie Troop held their formal Brownie Bash.

They started the event off with their second grade cheer...

The third graders did their bridging ceremony and the second graders got their certificates for finishing their first year as Brownies.
Lily is thrilled by this...

All she needs are the height lines behind her and this photo could work as the perfect mug shot...

Slightly better, but still quite forced...

I suppose I can't blame her.

While Sophia has had the best time in her first year as a Girl Scout, Lily's experience has not been as memorable.

With some moves and a smaller troop (12 instead of 26), hopefully her next year as a Brownie will be one she remembers for all of the right reasons.

Season Ender

The girl's first softball season came to an end today.
In a come from behind win, the Bearcats went 6-1-1 for the season.
It was a very impressive season.
These were definitely well deserved...

So was a pizza party...

This was a fantastic group of girls and an incredible group of parents.
We sure are going to miss our Saturdays at the ballpark.
