From the Mouth of Babes

As we all know, Lily LOVES to talk. With as much as she talks, there are bound to be some funny comments here or there. She definitely didn't disappoint this past week. I hope you enjoy...

09/12/09- While I sat at the table eating my breakfast, this is what I heard coming from the bathroom...

"Holy cow! HOLY cow! Momma, come here! Come look at this big poop that just came out of my butt!"

09/13/09- The very next day, at about the same time in the morning, there were shouts again coming from our bathroom...

"Oh my gawd! Oh my gawd! You should see this big poop that came out of me! Oh my gawd!"

Later on that same day, we were all getting ready to go to the grocery store. I got the girls dressed while my mom and I changed out of our p.j's and just put on sweat pants. Lily took one look at my mom and asked her,

"Ditado, why are you still wearing your pajamas?"

09/14/09- This was a rainy, kind of lazy day for all of us. We had been going, going, going and it was a day for a nap. My mom went to go lay down in the room and just as she was drifting off, the door to her room opened and this is what she heard...

"Once upon a time..."

"Lily, Ditado is trying to take a nap."

"I know, but if I read you a story first, it will make you sleep better."

Later on in the evening, my mom was telling Lily how Joe was going to make an Egg McMuffin with the new gadget he got while we were at the store. To which Lily replies...

"Ooh, I want an eggplant muffin!"

09/17/09- After we picked Lily up from school, she seemed really upset. We asked her what was wrong and she tells us...

"I just don't want to use my brain anymore!"

Apparently, they make you think when you are at school nowadays. Go figure!
