It's Pretty Big...

Today is the day we set off for our great adventure.  Today is the day we leave for Disney World!!

We got the car packed up and ready to go for our 16 hour drive.  The idea that we would soon be in Florida was a very exciting thought for us all...

But I knew that we had a loooong drive ahead of us and we just wanted to make sure the girls were entertained and as comfortable as they could be...

Joe took his driving duties very seriously and with our teamwork at the wheel, we managed to be on the road for 13 hours today.  In those 13 hours, we crossed the state border of Arkansas, Tennessee, Mississippi, Alabama and we were now in Georgia...

We knew that there wasn't going to be any way that we were going to make it to Florida in one day, so we were happy with how far we made it.  We had an idea that we would want to stop in Valdosta, Georgia, but didn't know what to expect.  When I asked the lady in McDonald's if Valdosta would be a good stop and if it was a bigger city, she said, "Valdosta?  Yeah, it's pretty big.  It got a mall."  

Good lord, I really am in the south!
