Today is Lily's first ever soccer game. She was very excited about it once she got past the shorts that were "really blue" and the big, baggy shirt. Not at all what she typically wears, but my Lily can look cute in anything...
We have plenty of time before the game starts, so we have Lily practice some of her kicks...
Ready, set...
Kick! Oops, let's try that again...

This time she doesn't take her eye off it...
Time to get her game face on...
While Sophia pulls up a seat where she can be close to all of the action...
Pre-game drills...
Whoops, there goes that darn ball moving again...
She catches her balance...

and kicks...

The game begins...
She gets right into the thick of things...
GOAL!!!
and she makes sure to check the sideline that we are watching...
After 45 minutes of running around, this smile never left her face. I am so glad she is having fun...
As for Sophia, all she needs are rain boots and an umbrella to keep her happy...
