This year has not had the beginning I was hoping for and anticipating. Today we received the news that our beloved Abuela passed away. It came as a shock to many of us and it hasn't quite sunk in that she is in fact gone.
While she is not here anymore, she most definitely left her mark on all of us that were fortunate enough to know her. She was a woman that would bend over backward for her family because it was so obvious that her family is what made her happiest.
So to this woman known as Grandma Carm by Joe and Abuela by my girls, we love you and will miss you...
