Lou's and Legos

Another day, another lovely meal in Schaumburg.

Today the locale was Lou Malnati's.

On the menu was pizza and bruschetta.

Believe me when I say it was yummy.

We all enjoyed it...

Sophia tried to act like she didn't...

But she really did...

After Lou's, we were set to meet up with Michael and Nathan for a little Lego time...

Sophia had to be woken from her nap.

This didn't put her in the best of moods...

But after a few moments with her cousins, she quickly perked up.

I was amazed at how much can be made with Legos.

I can't even build a basic four-sided house...

The kids weren't the only ones having fun.
Leave it to Joe...

There weren't many rides at the Lego Discovery World, but Lily found one that she wanted to ride on by herself.
This was good progress for the girl who gets scared when her daddy lifts her too high in the air...

The kids had to go by the Star Wars figures.
It was Michael's favorite...

And of course Joe had to be inappropriate.
It tends to be what he does best...

A few more minutes of playing before having to say goodbye...
