Although fall had officially begun almost a week earlier, the California weather still felt a little like summer.
Warm weather always gives the girls an excuse to do one of their favorite activities...
However, Sophia soon discovered that warm weather doesn't always translate into warm pool water...
Whether cold or warm, Mermaid Lily couldn't be fazed either way...
Sophia couldn't be bothered with the cold water and preferred to be bundled up...
Sharing snacks with her Papa...
Lily joined soon after...
From the pool, we then went to the park...
Where the weather felt much warmer.
So with flushed cheeks, we made the short walk back to Grandma and Papa's...
Hand in hand with Papa...
Once home, the girls were quickly cooled by ice cream...
And Papa was humored by Sophia's storytelling...
and just her flat out cuteness...
A day spent with Papa and Grandma.
Nothing compares to it.
