Lily's Birthday

Wow, you are seven now...

Daddy thought the best way to celebrate was with oversized balloons.
They were a hit with you and Sophia...

Maddie wasn't overly enthused...

My big girl opened her gifts...

and took the time to read each card...

For dinner, Lily chose to eat at Chili's.
Of course.
After dinner, she got a rousing rendition of "Happy Birthday" and her favorite chocolate molten cake.
Her response, "This is the best birthday ever.  I can't wait until next year."
When Joe told her she has to stop getting older, her response was,
"That's just life dad."
Smarter beyond her years, this one is.
