Today's events were too much to put into one blog post and I didn't want to leave anything out.
So here is part two of our lovely day.
After the traumatic pony rides, we walked over to the pond...
Lily was still feeling a little gloomy from her pony ride experience...But looking at the peaceful water and mean geese made her feel a little better...
Sophia was just happy to be with her Papa (and her new best friend, Jamba Juice)...
My dad took a moment to rest...
While Lily enjoyed some chocolate...
Then on to a less traumatic type of pony ride...
And a very mild train ride...
From there, it was time for lunch.
Immediately following lunch, it was time for dessert.
Sophia had her eyes on these all day...
It was a skewer of a mini rice krispie treat, donut hole, marshmallow and strawberry covered in chocolate.
There wasn't any clean way to eat it.
So digging in looked to be the only option...
Lily picked up the skewer and went straight for the marshmallow in the middle.I just love the way her cheeks were dotted by the treats that were on the end...
Our day of strawberries was coming to a close, but the girls wanted one last thing before leaving.
A balloon animal...
For the girl's, it was a perfect end to a day spent celebrating their favorite fruit.
I love Lily's chocolate face expressions! Priceless! Looks like this day was fun filled and packed full of great treats! What a great festival to experience!
