Arf

Lily's first grade class was doing a musical called "Arf".
Lily got one of the few speaking parts in the play.
She was General German Shepherd.
She had quite a few lines to memorize in a short amount of time.
But she did it and today was the big day.
They had two performances.
The first was in the morning in front of the whole school...
Later that night, she had an evening performance.
This time the whole family and our friends, the Galway family, attended.
Sophia got into the spirit of the show...
It was close to the little one's bedtime...
Baby Abigail was excited to see it...
Lily once again did an incredible job.
She remembered all of her lines and most importantly, she spoke them clearly...
I am so proud of Lily's hard work.
She practiced every night and it showed.
You did awesome my little puppy dog, truly awesome.

San Antonio

Tami had never been to Texas.
Instead of hanging around Houston, we took the two hour trek to San Antonio.
It was just an overnight trip, so we crammed in as much as we could.
We started at El Mercado...
Where we got in trouble for taking pictures with the props.
It seemed like all we did was eat and eat and eat some more.
But that's what is so great about San Antonio.
And the company couldn't be beat either.

Sweet & Sassy at Seven

It's party day for Lily and my cousin, Tami, arrived just in time.
Let the party begin...
Lily treated each of her pals to a peace sign necklace upon arrival...
Then the girls got sweet and sassified...
Then they got the chance to strut on the runway...
While some strutted, others ran...

The best surprise for all of these girls was at the end...
They looked at each other in disbelief because they couldn't believe they were going in a pink limo...
Then Joe got a big surprise and looked at me in disbelief when I told him that he gets to chaperone these lovely girls on their little ride...
The screams coming from inside were loud as the girls got acquainted with the limo.
Or could it be that it was actually Joe who was screaming :)
Nevertheless, this was one happy birthday girl...
They spent the 20 minute ride doing this...
Do you think they had fun?
I know they did and that's all that matters to me on my big girl's birthday.
