First comes practice.
Then come the games.
Although Lily's first soccer game was canceled because of rain, today there was not a cloud in sight.
So the girls sat back and did a little pre-game unwinding...
Then Lily warmed up her little legs...
Lily's #1 cheerleader found her spot to root her on...
Then Lily sat focused.
Waiting for her turn to be called into the game...
Once in the game, she did remarkably well.
She ran after the ball.
She kicked it away from the other kids.
She even dribbled it a little...
Did I happen to mention that Lily is the only girl on her team?
She didn't seem to mind...
Although no goals were scored by Lily today, she sure seemed proud of herself...
Just as we always are of her!
