WDW Day 2: Pirate's and Pals Fireworks Voyage

I heard that if you wanted to get the best view of the firework spectacular at Magic Kingdom (without the crowds), then this voyage is the way to go...
On our way to take our voyage, it was a wee bit drizzly outside, but that wasn't going to prevent these blimey pirates from setting sail...
Lo and behold, before we set out, we had one, make that two, big surprises.
Captain Hook and and his right hand, er hook, man, Mr. Smee...
Before embarking on a late night journey, a pirate needs his gold tabloons.
Tabloons (i.e. gold coins) are great, but even better when filled with chocolate...
Their best pirate poses...
It's true, the view from the boat is hard to beat...
The ride was fun and boisterous.
Two things that generally make a pirate sail truly memorable.
However, with one really sleepy, cranky infant trapped on a boat, it can kind of dampen the mood.
Just as the littlest of our pirates would start to nod off, the pirate songs would begin once again and our shouts of "Argh" would get louder...
The best surprise came at the end, when who should appear, but Peter Pan himself...
Another first.
Another night of memories.
