WDW Day One: Epcot

It's hot today.
Not just a little hot, but super hot.
That says a lot considering we live in Houston.
But we couldn't let the heat keep us away...
We would just have to find ways to keep cool...
Maybe this silly moose hat would keep the sun out of our eyes...
Armed with a bubble blower and spray bottle, we are ready to explore Epcot...
We weren't here long when Sophia spotted one of her favorite characters...
Upon seeing Alice, Sophia yelled one of her lines from the movies,
"The time!  The time!  Who's got the time?"
It was a perfect way to greet Alice.
It even made her giggle a bit...
Alice was quite sweet, but she kept mistaking Maddie for a mouse.
She offered her some cheese once or twice...
We stayed in Canada for a while longer waiting on our dinner reservations...
We made our way to the fun stop...
The kids could make fans.
So perfect for this hot day...
Shortly thereafter, it was time to eat.
We had reservations for the most raved about steakhouse on Disney property...

Rightfully so.
The dinner was out of this world.
And the dessert, both adorable and delicious...

The chocolate mousse...

Sophia went with the sundae...

I chose the creme brulee.
Probably had to be one of the smartest choices I ever made.
It was beyond spectacular...

With very satisfied and full tummies, we continued on...
We made a few stops especially for Joe.
One was in his native land so he could say "Hi" to his Amigos...
And a second necessary stop in Germany so he could get a beer in Das Boot...
This was a great beginning to what I can tell is going to be the best vacation ever!
