Dinner with the Deschamps

The Deschamps family is leaving us! For one month, they will be leaving the Murphy's behind as they head to Utah where Dave will be mostly working and Jen, Olive and Elle will get a chance to see family and friends that they haven't seen in a while. Can we blame them? Of course not. Will we miss them? YES!
So before they headed to Salt Lake City, we had to get the girls, and of course the boys, together one last time.

We got to the restaurant a little early and most of us waited patiently...
except for Lily who kept asking, "When is Olive going to get here? Is Olive here yet?"
Once they showed up, we ordered our food and sat together talking.
Of course the girls had to sit at their own special table so they could play, chat, but most of all...
GIGGLE!

Pictures of Lily and Olive had to be taken. After all, a month is a long time to be away from your best friend.

Have you ever seen two little girls with such a wonderful bond? A bond that even a month apart from each other won't break.
Not wanting the evening to end, we packed the girl's in their strollers and ventured over to the Purple Cow for some yummy desserts. Lily and Sophia shared a purple milkshake...

As did Olive and Elle. The boys, on the other hand, refused to share theirs. Well, at least Joe did. Jen was kind enough to share her triple chocolate malt with me, even giving me the silver cup with all of the crushed up malt balls. Ah, a true friend.

As the night grew darker, everyone grew a little sillier. Especially the boys...

You could truly feel the Bromance in the air.
They even stopped to take a few pictures together, but they drew the line when we asked them to touch their heads together. Oh well, we are bound to get one sooner or later.

After a great evening with our wonderful friends, we had to say "Good night."
We hope they have a safe trip and get to see everyone that is important to them, but we hope they hurry back soon because they are very important to us.
